[Bug 899503] Re: first slide on 12.04 thinks it's 11.10
This sort of thing can be confusing, I download and installed a 12.04
daily build to start testing and then glanced at the install screen as
it was proceeding and saw the "11.10" string - I first thought that I
had selected the wrong ISO to install and was about to abort the whole
process before deciding to let it run and see what version actually
booted up.
While this sort of thing may seem trivial to those who are deeply
involved in the project of creating a new release, for others who come
in as testers - especially those new to the process - it may well end up
causing frustration and therefore discourage them from continuing in the
bug discovery and reporting process that improves the quality of the
eventual release.
