[Bug 956554] [NEW] [UIFe] Changes accumulated in the slideshow branch after UI freeze

 

You have been subscribed to a public bug by Stéphane Graber (stgraber):

While preparing the upload of a new slideshow package to refresh the
translations, I noticed that quite a few changes happened since UI
freeze without proper documentations.

After discussing in #ubuntu-release the consensus was that it'd be
better to push these changes ASAP to get as much time as possible for
translations and documentation update.

Here's the changelog followed by a list of UI and string changes:
ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu (54) UNRELEASED; urgency=low

  [ Dylan McCall ]
  * Ubuntu: Only show Twitter feed if English language is used. (LP: #942046)
  * Ubuntu: Change delay betweens tweets from 5s to 6s
  * Ubuntu: Slightly more exciting sounding "I'm installing Ubuntu" message.
  * Merge fix for bashism in test-slideshow.sh

  [ Christian Giordano ]
  * Ubuntu: Update background of first slide for Precise
  * Ubuntu: Underline links on hover

  [ Pasi Lallinaho ]
  * Xubuntu: Switch to new logo (LP: #955396)
  * Xubuntu: Optimize the PNG's
  * Xubuntu: Update Pidgin description.

  [ Stéphane Graber ]
  * Refresh translation templates for previous changes.
  * Update translations from Launchpad

UI changes (no string affected):
  * Ubuntu: Only show Twitter feed if English language is used. (LP: #942046)
  * Ubuntu: Update background of first slide for Precise
  * Xubuntu: Switch to new logo (LP: #955396)

String changes:
  * Ubuntu: Slightly more exciting sounding "I'm installing Ubuntu" message. (only one character change, so should be marked as fuzzy)
  * Xubuntu: Update Pidgin description.
