[Bug 1300464] Re: [UIFe] Ubuntu GNOME Trusty Slides Update

Hello Alfredo, or anyone else affected,

Accepted ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu into trusty-proposed. The package
will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu/83.1 in a few hours, and then in the
-proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to
enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update
out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug,
mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag
from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the
bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to
verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help
us make a better decision.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in
advance!

Bug description:
  [impact]
This package above contains updated screenshots and a very minor fix in media.html file.
The translations shall remain the same, as the strings have not been modified.

Formerly we wanted to update them for 14.04, but we had no time and we
let it pass, so the reason behind this UIFe is that we got the LTS
approval after the UI Freeze (as far as I'm concerned) and we wanted
  to provide updated slideshows.

  [Test Case]
Look at the slideshow in the installer and check the new images are used.

  [Regression Potentional]
None, We are regressing here by showing old screenshots, these were meant to land before 14.04 released. But now it is paramount these are updated for 14.04.1 release!
