Title:
back/forward button in kubuntu slideshow broken

Status in ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Kubuntu 17.10 Alpha 2 iso image
  Build 20170725

  What happens:

The kubuntu slideshow shows back/forward buttons in the slideshow
pane. Clicking these buttons at any point during the install does
nothing, apart from a causing the button highlight itself on click.

  What should happen:

A reasonable user would expect displayed button to be functional. In
this case that they can navigate the slideshow by advancing or going
back through the slides using the provide back and forward buttons.
