Re: Ubuntu Accomplishments System & Ubuntu Forums

I'd be happy to help some. My guess is that you'll have one library to query the DB and the actual accomplishments checker scripts will only be a few lines long, like we did for fitbit accomplishments.

Hello everyone,

I would have had this discussion on IRC but I never seem to be online at the same time as everyone else, so I have put this on the mailing list.

A while ago I started a ticket [1] wanting to add a whole bunch of accomplishments for the Ubuntu Forums by querying it's database [2]. It sort of stalled with IS going quiet, but they've now responded expressing interest in helping us. I would guess this is because of the recent forum software update (I think the schema changed between vb3 and vb4).

They need an answer from us now. I am willing to help out, but I cannot do everything on my own. I could do with some help. Before I go and say "yes", it would be nice to know someone can help me out a bit.

Thank you :)
