Bug description:
  Steps:
  1. Have an existing contact with no email address
  2. Swipe up to get the edit the button
  3. Click edit
  4. click in the email field
  5. type in an email address
  6. click Save

  Result:
  The spinner spins for a very long time, eventually reporting an error that it cannot load contacts
