Title:
Notes app is unusable if its fails to load the image on startup
Status in Notes App:
Fix Released
Status in “notes-app” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
If the notes-app is not able to download the sample image on startup
the app becomes useless. i.e. none of the interface elements appear.
you cannot pull out the toolbar etc. When this problem happens
autopilot actually shows that there is stuff out there. The toolbar
exists, the note item exists the TextDelegate exists even the
ImageDelegate exists and all have valid properties. Its just the UI
fails to show anything. attached the screenshot.
The error message in the terminal that appears is:
FAILED TO DOWNLOAD "Protocol "" is unknown"
file:///usr/share/notes-app/Components/ImageDelegate.qml:39:16: QML QQuickImage: Failed to get image from provider: image://cache/
which is standard Qt/Qml error.
