[Messaging app] SMS sent got no time stamp in the timeline

Status in “messaging-app” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Current situation:
After sending a SMS to a known contacts, the thread in the overview appears with no date stamp (see screenshot attached; 'Christina Li- work mobile' doesn't have a date stamp). And when seeing the person's thread it was sent today (see second screen shot attached). This has only occurred to contacts with multiple numbers.
However, restarting the messaging app 'fixes' this problem.
Desired solution:
Messages should appear in the correct timeline order.
