[Bug 1284255] Re: dailer-app doesn't work when /home/ is out of space

 

dialer-app is just a victim of the filesystem allowing teh user to consume all of the space (instead of reserving 5% for system operations)  ... 
a fix is underway at https://code-review.phablet.ubuntu.com/#/c/189/

Bug description:
  I recently ran out of space the my /home/ partition on my Nexus 4, and
  when that happened I couldn't use the dialer at all, the ubuntu-
  system-settings app couldn't show the Carrier in "Cellular" settings,
  or IMEI number in "About this phone".
