Title:
telephony-service FTBFS while attempting a rebuild
Status in Telephony Service:
Fix Released
Status in “telephony-service” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
As a continuation from bug #1270770, reporting that a simple build
from lp:telephony-service fails also in current trusty, which is a
separate problem:
https://launchpad.net/~canonical-
qt5-edgers/+archive/qt5-proper/+sourcepub/3835903/+listing-archive-
extra
This also blocks the Qt 5.2 effort, since everything needs a rebuild
over there because of the libqt5core5 -> libqt5core5a transition.
Update: as noted on IRC, the permission problem might come from bzr bd
-S's handling of the delta in trunk vs. archive, but it seems the same
test fails also in jenkins: https://jenkins.qa.ubuntu.com/job
/telephony-service-trusty-amd64-ci/15/console
To upgrade to the Qt 5.2 easily (now possible on desktop where all dependencies are built):
apt-add-repository ppa:canonical-qt5-edgers/qt5-beta2
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
See/describe dependencies of packages at
