Discussed on IRC and it plays fine on a recently flashed mako (#270 ->
#272), but fails on ogra's mako though.

Bug description:
  with teh switch to oxide (and also a new G+ app using it) external
  links do not open at all anymore, videos can not play inside the
  webapp ... using G+ from the browser directly both of these work fine.

  i see a lot of DENIED messages in /var/log/syslog for the app http://paste.ubuntu.com/7194027/
