Title:
Saving a phone number to a new contact is confusing when address-book
is empty
Status in Address Book App:
Fix Released
Status in “address-book-app” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
When testing dialer-app on a phone with no user data (no contacts,
calls nor anything), I tried to save a phone number to a new contact.
The address-book-app was started, and I can see that the view to create a new contact is visible, together with the OSK.
But on top of everything, there was a dialog saying I have no contacts, and asking if I want to sync contacts from an online account.
This is confusing because the user is expecting to be able to save the
new contact directly.
