Title:
Swiping away the OSK doesn’t remove focus from the current
TextField/TextArea
Status in Ubuntu UI Toolkit:
Invalid
Status in “notes-app” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
(not sure whether that’s a bug in the UITK or in the OSK, so filing it
here, please re-assign accordingly)
See the attached QML test file, to be run on a phone.
Clicking either the TextField or the TextArea gives it active focus, and the OSK appears.
Swiping the OSK away to dismiss it should remove focus from the current TextField/TextArea, but apparently it doesn’t.
As a consequence, tapping the previously focused field should bring the OSK back up, but it doesn’t.
That’s with build saucy-43, qtdeclarative5-ubuntu-ui-toolkit-plugin
0.1.46+13.10.20130714-0ubuntu1, maliit-framework 0.99.trunk.phablet2
and maliit-keyboard 0.99.trunk.phablet1.
