Title:
Text truncated in media permission prompt
Status in Ubuntu UX:
New
Status in webbrowser-app package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
This appears to be the case in several languages, including English, German and French.
To observe, browse to e.g. https://appear.in/foobarbaz. You’ll get a prompt to allow the browser to access the camera and microphone. Given that the question is in the title of the dialog (which is limited to 2 lines of text, and ellipsized), it is truncated, making it hard to understand the question at all.
See attached screenshot (in French).
