com.ubuntu.gallery_2.9.1.1285 was released to the store today, so this
should fix the issue

  version custom: 20160111-926-36--vivid

  Steps:
  1.Go to gallery app
  2.Tap on a photo to open in full screen
  3.Tap it to reveal top menu bar
  4.Tap on edit button

  Actual result:
  App hangs for a while then crashes

  Expected result:
  Be able to edit photo
