There is no way for the autopilot emulators to tell if the maliit-
server has finished 'booting' and ready for input

Status in ubuntu-keyboard package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
There needs to be a way for the autopilot emulators to check that a newly started maliit-server is ready to go.
(Bug #1248902 might be related to this.)
For instance in a test suite, when I restart the maliit-server we need
to know when the maliit-server has done it's communication with the
shell etc. and is ready to go.
