Title:
Browser: no way to edit bookmark URL
Status in Canonical System Image:
Confirmed
Status in webbrowser-app package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
In the browser there appears to be no way to edit a bookmark's URL.
This is troublesome when you want to bookmark the root of a website.
Example:
I want to bookmark https://www.openstreetmap.org, but when I visit
that website, I get redirected to a URL that embeds the last location
I looked at, e.g.:
https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=17/53.19689/5.79632. This means I
cannot directly bookmark https://www.openstreetmap.org, but have to
edit the bookmark URL afterwards. Currently there does not seem to be
a way to do so.
Expected behaviour:
In the bookmark menu dragging the bookmark to the right already
displays the delete function. It would probably be intuitive to add an
edit function on drag-left.
