My suggested solution for this bug: if the team decides on a hashtag,
show emblems of twitter, identi.ca and friends  that link to their
search pages with messages with that hashtag. If the team does not pick
a hashtag, don't show anything.

The Microblog Hashtag from a event is not used. eg http://loco.ubuntu.com/events/global/3/detail/ . It's just a text. nothing special
