loco.ubuntu.com does not display a link for "join this team"

in launchpad.net I do not see this and same for edge.launchpad.net

that is why I ask where you see this

Also are you utilizing openid login or not

Steps to reproduce:
1. Log in
2. Go to the page of a LoCo of which you are a member (bonus points: a page on which you are listed as the team's admin)

Expected behaviour: it recognizes that you're already a member of the team
Actual behaviour: it suggests that you join the team
