[Bug 568934] Re: Lubuntu not becoming official *buntu in 10.04
According to http://www.ubuntu.com/products/whatisubuntu/derivatives the
only official derivatives are Edubuntu, Kubuntu and Ubuntu Server
Edition. I think that Ubuntu Netbook Edition should be included as well.
Derivative that are "recognized" are Xubuntu, Ubuntu Studio, Mythbuntu.

Status in Ubuntu Manual: Confirmed
Bug description:
I am reading Ubuntu-Manual revision 729, and believe I have found some incorrect information.
Per http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2010/04/lubuntu-not-joining-ubuntu-family-until.html and https://lists.launchpad.net/lubuntu-desktop/msg01055.html, Lubuntu will most likely not become an official Ubuntu derivative until at least 10.10. On pages 25 (Chapter 2) and 148 (Chapter 9), however, it is mentioned as an official *buntu. This probably needs to be changed to reflect current Lubuntu status.
