That was what I was envisioning Chris. A system similar to LP where you
could simply hit Subscribe/Unsubscribe for a Team or Event.

Bug description:
It would be good to send email updates for the following:

1) When a team event is created, an email can be sent to the team's mailing list

2) When a team event is updates, an email can be sent to either a team's mailing list, or just individuals who have registered for the event.
