The error that occurred would be just as likely to happen even if we put
restrictions on who could create events.  We already plan to allow one
team to "join" an event created by another, so this wouldn't be very
hard to implement as part of that.

Bug description:
Made an event under the wrong team. I could edit most everything else except what team the event was under. Maybe a future feature? :)
