Title:
  Provide a method of dismissing the map

Status in LoCo Team Portal:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  The map on the front page of loco.ubuntu.com while useful for new
  visitors, takes up a lot of space for regular visitors (particularly
  with the new blogging functionality included).

  It would be useful if there was a small X symbol to dismiss the map
  for those of us who don't need to see it anymore and it will collapse
  the map away.
