I believe this has now been rectified. For searching reference. This is
a problem where the first time you login to LTP, you are not recognized
as being a part of a team. The next time that the update script runs,
the data will be imported. If you are not recognized because it is the
first time you have logged in, please logout and wait a few hours (the
script runs more frequently than that, but to be on the safe side) and
then log back in.

  Readd nUboon2Age to ubuntu-california in portal

Bug description:
  User ~nUboon2Age who organizes several of our Ubuntu Hours expired
  from the ~ubuntu-california team in launchpad. He re-added himself
  last week but is still not listed as a member of ~ubuntu-california in
  the portal so he's unable to create events.
