When I announce an event (e-mail, blog, forum, &c.)  I usually give out
an OSM shortlink.  And I make sure the map for the area around the venue
is accurate (and fix it if it's not).  So, no worries about OSM not
being ready for the Waterloo, Ontario, Canada area, anyway.

Bug description:
  As free software projects, we should collaborate. This is the only way
  to make a better openstreetmap and a better loco directory.

  Instead of using google maps, let's use something with better vibes :)
