In saucy:
Select \menu{Tools\then Clear Recent History} or press \keystroke{Shift+Ctrl+Delete}. Choose your \dropdown{Time range to clear}, and under \button{Details} which items to clear, and press \button{Clear Now}.

In trusty:
Select \menu{History\then Clear Recent History\ldots} or press \keystroke{Shift+Ctrl+Delete}. Choose your \dropdown{Time range to clear}, and under \button{Details} which items to clear, and press \button{Clear Now}.

Bug description:
  In recent versions of Firefox the "Clear recent history " menu item is
  no longer under the Tools main menu but in the History menu. Hence

  modified accordingly
