Message #00299
[Bug 1514053] [NEW] Allow !ops in PM
Public bug reported:
Currently !ops can only be used in the channel in which the command is
called. I believe this can make the user calling ops a target or provoke
the troubling user to cause more issues.
It would be good to have getting help in PM as an option (/msg bot !ops
#channel) in order to request op attention in private avoiding these two
issues. I am not sure how it would work to op side though, would it PM
the ops separately or alert on channel anyway, but the current factoid
system doesn't seem functional to me.
** Affects: ubuntu-bots
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
