então cara
no intrepid, assim que eu instalei o driver restrito da ATI ele já instalou
o Catalyst sozinho

agora..se não esta instalado, pelo apt-get instala (ou fglrx-amdcccle ou
amdcccle)
ai no terminal roda: amdcccle
vai abrir o painel do catalyst
la vai ter uma sessão onde ele identifica os monitores....da para trabalhar
comn vários monitores
na versão mais nova ta até mais facil de fazer isso =P (a versão mais nova
ta no intrepid)
