Re: Application to Bug Control team
Hi Timo,
The amount of work that you put into helping out in these bug reports
is great. That part of bug triage is great. On the other hand, there
is a major part of bug triage that deals with the "first responder"
types of situations. Things like thanking reporters for their report,
looking at the information provided, getting any missing information
from the reporters, knowing when a bug has enough information to be
triaged, the importance to set it at, when it should be sent upstream,
are all extremely important.
As of right now your examples didn't include any of that. If you have
example bugs in which you do some of the things listed above, please
reply to the list with them so we all can look at them.
