Message #00530
Request for Mentorship
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
I was just introduced to triaging today by duanedesign and he gave me a
number of links to look at in order to find out more. Indeed, that is
how I found out that you offer a mentorship programme. I am interested
in getting involved but I don't know where to begin so I am requesting a
mentor from this early stage. I don't have any special skills or
talents (ie I can't program or read code) but I am willing and able to
learn. Additionally, I have a lot of free time on my hands and I sit
behind my computer most of the day (I collect disability). I live in
the GMT+2 timezone. From the little bit that I have seen so far, it
looks like you can use all of the help that you can get. So if anyone
is willing and able to take me on as an apprentice, please contact me
either by email or on IRC (I am Yos on IRC). Thank you.
