[Bug 552276] Re: gnome-power-manager crashed with SIGSEGV
After doing an update
- updated kernel to 2.6.32-19-generic x86_64
- updated fglrx-installer to 2:8.721-0ubuntu7
The bug is fixed.
To reproduce the error (if an update was not run):
1. system menu -> administration -> Hardware Drivers
2. After the searches for the drivers, select fglrx and either enable or disable
3. During the install/removal process, gnome-power-manager error will pop up. Doing a dmesg shows:
gnome-power-man[1501]: segfault at 1 ip 00007f12c09e480e sp
00007fff4fb0b790 error 4 in
libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.2000.0[7f12c08de000+415000]
