Just passing along something fun for hackers out there: Make Magazine
has partnered with Chumby and is producing some short runs of "Chumby
Guts", essentially Chumbies without housing, so you can build your
own. They sold out of them really quickly on their first run, but
they're doing preorders for a second run now, and at quite a
reasonable price of $99 (certainly beats the $200 they cost fully
assembled). Would be great for your hacking projects looking for a
relatively advanced controller board, or just to build your own Chumby
into a Furby (= Churby!) or whatnot.
