As we didn't have a place like this before, we created it so we can have

 - discussions around planning community events
 - start all kinds of initiatives around Ubuntu
 - enthusiasts of the Ubuntu community to kick around
   new ideas
 - bring people from all parts of our community together
   so we can learn from each other
 - hang out and have fun
