Does this text come from upstream?  If so, I wonder if it might read
better to omit that as it feels odd here; the style seems informal
compared with the rest of the text, and might give wrong impression of
what Canonical's plans actually are.

Other than this bikeshed paint, the rest lgtm as far as I understand.
