[Bug 261163] Re: Eee 1000 - Video not Configured
I assume the display is still able to load, right?
The Intel video driver is automatically recognized by X on startup. Defining the driver under the Section "Device" is not necessary.
As long as your X display brings up the Ubuntu login and you can see
your mouse, and /var/log/Xorg.0.log cites something like:
(II) intel(0): Integrated Graphics Chipset: Intel(R) 915GM
.. then this probably isn't a bug :)
Please validate if you don't actually have a display on the 1000

Bug description:
It appears that the video driver on the 1000 has not been configured. I'm not using a swap file, could this effect the driver install? (Sorry Linux Newbie).
