Message #00361
[Bug 261137] Re: Eee 1000 - Bluetooth not Setup
I have the same problem (no Bluetooth) same hardware (Eee 1000).
Attached is the output of the first command.
# sudo hcitool dev is not found:
:~$ sudo hcitool dev
[sudo] password for ...:
sudo: hcitool: command not found"
Curiously, there is no /etc/default/bluetooth file. Seeing this I
rebooted just to double check that I had enabled Bluetooth in the BIOS.
I had and it (still) is. Here's the listing of the directory:
:~$ ls -a /etc/default/
. alsa brltty hal pmi syslogd
.. apmd console-setup halt powernowd tmpfs
915resolution apport cupsys klogd pulseaudio ufw
acpid avahi-daemon dbus locale rcS useradd
acpi-support bootlogd devpts ntpdate rsync
** Attachment added: "output of sudo lspci -v -nn"
