Same problem appears on a 1000 (ubuntu-eee 8.04.1). Pointedly quadruple-
checked that i was entering the password correctly.

I was able to get around it by selecting "switch user", then logging in
as usual, though.

Bug description:
When ever i close the lid on my eee 701 4g it goes to suspend but when i press the power button i'm asked to enter a password. I know i enter the correct one but i get wrong password everytime. I'm also using NBE 8.04.1
