[Bug 264978] Re: Using headphone does not mute main speakers

And all of a sudden, it just started working. But I noticed that the
muting seems to be done somewhere in hardware, ie the changes in sound
status isn't reflected in Gnome Volume Control-panel. Muting/unmuting
(as per bug #244059) also works more or less if not done while volume
control is running, then it reverts to the same way that bug describes.
Otherwise the muting is just "mute Main, set front to 0"

Status in Ubuntu Eee: New

Bug description:
The headphone output works properly now with the newest array.org - kernel from adam, but "normal operation" would be that when a headphone is plugged in the jack socket, the internal speakers would mute.
However, this is not the case. Tested on 8.04.1 RC 2
