Re: [Question #44555]: Mounting issues post 8.04.1 EEE install
Question #44555 on Ubuntu Eee changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/44555
Status: Answered => Open
Uncle Mike is still having a problem:
I did df, and it returned this:
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1 3681684 2083656 1412480 60% /
varrun 513472 100 513372 1% /var/run
varlock 513472 0 513472 0% /var/lock
udev 513472 44 513428 1% /dev
devshm 513472 12 513460 1% /dev/shm
I used the Partition Manager in Ubuntu to unmount sdb1 from /media/HOME,
and reformatted it. /proc/mounts is empty, as best as I can tell (this
is the first time I've used Linux in 10 years, and I was hardly an
exoert then!)
I tried your fstab entry before and when I logged in, I got loads of
system complaints about things not existing. I'll try it again.
