[Bug 261141] Re: Eee 1000 - Disabling Wireless Crashes System
Christopher, thanks for the scripts, they seem to be working for
toggling on-off wireless.
Doug. I initially saw your post and thought this is what's happening to
me. I did some analysis and found the permissions on the new eee-wifi-
on-off.sh and eeepc-wireless-toggle.sh files were not set to root. After
doing 'sudo chmod 755 eee*' I found it fixed my problem.
I do have an issue that the wireless light is not being deactivated when
in 'Wireless LAN OFF' mode.
Does anyone know if there is a plan to make the wireless toggle affect
bluetooth, as it did under Xandros with a 4 state toggle? I know this
would only affect the 901 and 1000 models that have bluetooth.

Bug description:
Wireless is setup correctly, however when using the hotkey (FN&F2), the disable wireless icon appears - but the system then crashes. Only responds to a hard shutdown.
