Thanks Vexorian, the version of unetbootin which I'd downloaded by
following the link from the ubuntu eee page was outdated. I also
downloaded a new version of the torrent though and combining these two
managed to get a fresh install happening. Not sure which fixed it
exactl!y, but thanks very much for your help!
