ubuntu 8.0.4

totem 2.22.1 with gstreamer 0.10.18

playing youtube or any downloaded video flv, mpg etc

show duration of video between 9-16 seconds  video may be minutes long

video still plays with sound, however cannot scroll forward or back as once past the "showing" seconds, scrolling goes to that point only

fix?
