[Question #46613]: Running off SD card, how can I keep it from wanting to install every time I boot?
New question #46613 on Ubuntu Eee:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/46613
Hi there,
I recently installed Ubuntu Eee onto a SD card to use as a "live USB" linux desktop for my EEE 1000h. I took the 8.04.1 ISO and used the windows program "unetbootin" to copy the contents of the ISO to my SD card.
It boots and works great, except every time I boot, it wants to install Ubuntu Eee onto my hard drive. I have to cancel it out every time.
Is there some settings file somewhere that I can modify so it doesn't come up with the install screen every time I boot?
Thanks!
