[Question #47296]: can't get ubuntu to load from usb memory stick
New question #47296 on Ubuntu Eee:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/47296
I have an asus eee 1000.
I have followed the instructions on downloading and transferring ubuntu to a usb stick.
when i attempt to boot from the memory stick (choosing it as an option following pressing escape twice at start up)
i get the following message
'no bootable partition in table'
Is this a problem with the memory stick
How i have downloaded ubuntu to the memory stick
or a problem with the laptop - which currently has password protection?
I hope that someone can help me
thanks
