Re: [Question #48073]: FreeMind no Icon after installation
Question #48073 on Ubuntu Eee changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/48073
Status: Open => Answered
Chris Huby proposed the following answer:
To create a menu item with an icon,
1. Go to Applications>Preferences>Main Menu
2. Choose the application category you want the icon appear under and click on New Item
3. In the first empty box enter Freemind
4. In the next box enter freemind (all in lowercase)
5. You could change the icon here by clicking on launcher icon but I haven't managed to find a suitable freemind icon yet
6. Click Ok
A new icon should appear under the category you chose. Clicking on it should launch Freemind
good luck
Chris
