I have the same issue but only when I reboot with the usb stick
connected, not when I insert it afterwards. Running latest ubuntu eee on
a asus 900.

Bug description:
Ubuntu Eee is mainly installed though usb sticks.
Ubuntu thinks it's a cd and adds it to /etc/fstab
This f**ks everything up. Connecting something is ignored since there's an error in fstab

Ex:
/dev/sdb1     /media/cdrom0     udf,iso9660 user,noauto,exec,utf8 0     0
