[Question #49260]: Error when using sudo apt-get install vlc

I've just downloaded and installed all the recent updates of ubuntu-eee version gold.
However, upon trying to install vlc media player i get this message in the terminal that says failed to get because of a mismatch or something. I'd appreciate your help!

 Here's what it says:
