Re: [Question #50905]: Wifi not connecting
Question #50905 on Ubuntu Eee changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/50905
Status: Needs information => Answered
katch proposed the following answer:
I have the same problem with my Asus eee pc 901 and a Linksys WAG160n.
The eee can only connect the WAG160n without WPA / WPA2. WEP is working
correct. The WAG160n shows in the log, that the WPA handshake is failing
on 2/4.
Connecting the eee 901 to other access points (AVM Fritz!Box, D-Link,
...) is working correct.
All other devices (two Sony Vaio Notebooks, a IBM Thinkpad, a HP Compaq
Notebook, a Nokia E90 Communicator) have no problem with the Linksys
WAG160n and WPA / WPA2.
