Status in Ubuntu Eee: New

Bug description:
When loading a second language into the keyboard layouts it works fine until you restart.
After restart the language still appears in the layouts but does not work, when removing and re-adding the layout it works again, until the next boot

I am running ubuntu-eee 8.04 (hardy)
with kernel 2.6.24-21-eeepc
