[Bug 261141] Re: Eee 1000 - Disabling Wireless Crashes System

I have also been experiencing this issue with my 701SD.

I have tried quite a few alterations to my eeepc-wifi-toggle.sh but have
been unable to correct the issue. Basically it appears as if the system
can shutdown the wifi by disabling the card itself but that that somehow
locks the system, perhaps because it isn't being dropped gracefully. I
then have to restart and enable the wlan card in bios before it can be
utilized again.

I don't know enough to dig deeper myself, just enough to get into
trouble. I'll keep you posted if I find any answers though.

Wireless is setup correctly, however when using the hotkey (FN&F2), the disable wireless icon appears - but the system then crashes. Only responds to a hard shutdown.
